Step 1: Obtain Your $10,000 Surety Bond

The first step in becoming a Notary in Michigan is securing a $10,000 Surety Bond. You can get this bond through your auto insurance agent, or you can use our recommended insurance agent.

Step 2: Complete Your Application

Once you have your Surety Bond, you're ready to apply! Head over to the Michigan Secretary of State website to complete your Notary application.
